Ricky succeeded to progress through “Project Runway” Season 4 until late in the season and was distinguished by his win of the show’s “Levi’s Challenge”. The launch of his new Lingerie line follows his work for such fashion giants as Vera Wang, Oscar De La Renta and others.
We wish Ricky luck on the new line and are thrilled to have begun what we hope to be a long and strategic business alliance with the design of his website.

Former Google employees just launched a new Search Engine–Cuil (www.cuil.com). According to a Reuters article today, Cuil, which is being launched to compete with the Search giant, “goes beyond prevailing search techniques that focus on Web links and audience traffic patterns and instead analyzes the context of each page and the concepts behind each user search request.”
There is new layout and “psychology” to Cuil. It enables searchers to reference cross-topics in a more graphically engaging, social networking-intelligent manner.
We received the news that this month (May 2008) the website that we produced in late 2007 for DERIVE TECHNOLOGIES has received another important industry accolade. ChannelWeb, the online portal for CRN and VARBusiness magazines, has named Derivetech.com one of “20 Great-Looking Solution Provider Sites”. See the main story here, and the specific entry for Derivetech.com (#6 out of 20!) here.
We at Mitra Creative are very proud of this achievement. Joe Caponi, Managing Editor, Operations of ChannelWeb says of the interactive platforms chosen for the list of 20 Great Looking Solution Provider Sites that, “demonstrating a refined sense of design can help to brand a solution provider and generate new business opportunities.” We are thrilled that this aestheticism, as well as our work to very specifically co-brand Derive Technologies with Partners such as HP®, Microsoft®, Citrix®, Cisco®, Panasonic®, VMWare® and others, has been instrumental in business development and the creation of a power-brand for Derive.
Mitra Creative is excited to announce the April 4 launch of MYLIFEINSMILES.COM. Developed for the New York-based GEN ART, “the leading arts and entertainment organization dedicated to showcasing emerging fashion designers, filmmakers, musicians and visual artists”, MyLifeInSmiles.com is a Web 2.0 photo contest site especially designed for Gen Art’s sponsor, the Crest Whitestrips® family of products.
MyLifeInSmiles.com is a full-featured, metadata-rich Web 2.0 file sharing site which enables visitors — contest participants – to upload photos of their favorite smiles. A limited number of photos will be selected as winners of the contest and featured in a special photo exhibition to be hosted by Gen Art in late spring.
This project is a milestone for Mitra Creative–our first comprehensive project, developed in partnership with and for Gen Art, for a worldwide brand (P&G/Crest). It also demonstrates the richness of our capabilities in the production of social networking sites, in database and file sharing workflow design and in full-scale brand integration.
