Laurance Shinderman
IT Business Development Strategist
Laurance Shinderman is a seasoned veteran sales and business development executive, having held numerous senior sales and sales management positions with industry-leading technology manufacturers, system integrators and “big box” retailers. With his broad experience, Mr. Shinderman supports the go-to-market needs of IT solution providers, and helps them to develop specialized B2B and direct business development and marketing programs.
Mr. Shinderman’s most recent professional assignments have been with Cingular Wireless (telecommunications), Derive Technologies, AMC Computer Corp. and EnPoint Technology (system integrators), and the corporate division of CompUSA. In these positions, he drove IT product sales run rates up to $36mil USD annually, dramatically increased consulting and service revenue with double-digit (up to 55%) margins on a standard $1M+ USD per annum of services and created new lines of business including cutting-edge new media and digital communications sales practices. Mr. Shinderman has recently championed his own “Green Team®” business development methodologyutilizing first-time professionals to identify, qualify, develop and close new business for technology solution provider companies. His self-produced, 75-page, Green Team Manual supports his training of these IT business newcomers in pro-active, back-to-basics selling techniques and “market-before-you-sell” demand generation skills.
Mr. Shinderman holds a MA/LS degree from the State University of New York at Stonybrook, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Queens College, CUNY.
